We’ve tried to keep Bird Miles simple:

Get 12% off a future tour after you’ve accumulated 75 Bird Miles / 75 days of touring with us (excluding discounted tours). This is, under certain circumstances (you can check if you’re eligible by asking us), backdated until the start of 2018 but at half the rate (half a bird mile per touring day with us). This applies to our set departures, but private trips entitle you to half these amounts (so Bird Miles even apply to private trips but are then only worth half as much).
For Bird Miles members we also offer an 8% (of the cost of the tour the person signs up for) discount voucher toward any one future tour, for anyone you refer to us who has not previously toured with us but who then signs up because of your referral. These Bird Miles are transferable, so you can gift some or all of them to your friend (e.g. you can offer 4% off their tour but then you get a 4% voucher as well).

We will also e-mail you no more than twice a month (usually a lot less than that) with details of:

Early booking specials
Crazy last-minute booking specials (sometimes, for example, we offer a 15% discount 1-4 months before a tour starts!)

Bird Miles is only applicable if you have joined
Bird Miles can only be back-dated until 1 Jan 2018 (at half the rate) – any tours done with Birding Ecotours prior to 1 Jan 2018, sadly, will not qualify to earn Bird Miles.
Bird Miles is active at the full rate, from the day you join Bird Miles for any set departure tour booked (private tours only earn half the rate)
You can accumulate Bird Miles on ANY tours BE has on our website.
Bird Miles can only be redeemed on NON-DISCOUNTED tours
Bird Miles is a loyalty program for Birding Ecotours, and not a separate business. As such, by booking any tour with Birding Ecotours, the usual Birding Ecotours T&Cs will apply.
